SCRIPT
I’m an artist that loves to draw and animate. I create art that is fun to make; art that means something to me. My art, at least my recent works, expresses my interest in video games, music, and cartoons. My art is unique to me because it tends to take on many forms and styles each time. I find it very fun to do, it helps me visualize the crazy things that occupy my mind. The emotions I try to convey depend on the artwork and how I feel at the time. My art means just about everything to me since it’s mainly my only creative output. I usually prefer to do digital art, but I also like to draw traditionally as well. Over the years I’ve noticed I could never stick to a single style. Maybe the only consistent thing about myself is that I can never be consistent; my art is forever changing and growing, adapting and exploring. I think I’m finally ready to accept that. |
REFLECTION
Creating a podcast was surprisingly fun. I'm a really shy person so creating something like this for others to look at, and the fact that it has my voice in it, is kind of terrifying. Nevertheless, it was a learning experience and I feel like this project helped me overcome the discomfort quite a bit.
I really wanted this podcast to look and sound cool, so I spent the majority of my time making the music visualizers in the background and making sure my voice wasn't drowned out by the music. All the components of the podcast worked together pretty well, but the only thing I would improve on is my delivery of the script. I recorded myself numerous times because my voice was either too low to hear or I didn't pronounce words clear enough. In the end, I see myself making more podcasts such as this in the future.
